I am Having 10 columns.

I want to change only one column datatype.

In susch cases which stage i have to choose.In modify and transformer

Stages.

Data Conversions May be any way ( any to any ).Plz May i know the

reson.For choosing the particular stage.

Modify has better performance compare to Transformer.

yes it is...

no matter one or 100 you can use modify stage. You don't need a transformer for such tasks.
