Hi,
We have recently installed IS on 64-bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Advanced Platform.

Oracle client used: Oracle 11g Release 2 (32 bit)

I'm getting the following error while installing Oracle Library
:/opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/DSComponents/install> ./install.liborchoracle
Installing Oracle driver.
Installing driver for Oracle Version
ln: target `.so' is not a directory
Oracle driver installation is completed.

Has anyone come across this issue before?
Any hlep or suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks

If I remember correctly, Oracle 11 is not yet supported for this process.

You can try using an Oracle 10 client to get this working.

If you look into the script, you can see that it has conditions for 8, 9 and 10 only. For others, it is an 'otherwise' option to say it has completed.

Thanks Sainath.
It works fine with Oracle 10g client.
