Welcome aboard.

Get yourself on a DataStage training class, sooner rather than later.

Provided the job is closed, you can right click on the job in the Repository toolbar of Designer and create a copy right there.

There are two main export tools, one in Designer (the Export menu) and one called Information Server Manager. Each also has a command line interface.

That is what meant by COPY.

You will have the new job with the name of old job prefixed with 'CopyOf'.

Job names must be unique per project, that's why the copy ends up with that prefix on it.

You can rename the copy, again off the right-click menu.
