The datastage job was triggered. The job ran for almost 4 hours. Then the job aborted with the warning "Job control process(pid 422276) has failed".
Can anybody help me what is the error exactly?

Not really, not without more information. First though, do an exact search for "Job control process has failed". You'll only get two matches but see if either one helps.
