Hi All

We are trying to use ABAP extract stage for the first time using RFC as the data transfer method.

In the ABAP program tab

We used Build extraction object and added a table. Just trying to run a simple Select query.

We are uploading the generated program and trying to run the job.

Load Method : Current user loads the program from this dialog box

Run Method : Datastage job runs the program

Job keeps running endlessly, without any error messages.

Could you suggest, what I am doing wrong.

I tried using a different table with only one input column.
Still the job just keeps running with zero rows processed.

In director logs, it shows, logging metadata and thats about it...

Suggest you pursue this with your official support provider.

Try connecting via SAP logon pad and querying the objects.

Maybe you are experiencing a firewall issue.
