Insufficient System Resources

Hi There,

Iam getting the following error message:

ds_seqgetnext: Win32 error in ReadFile - Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service

Could some one please help how to get rid of this error message.

Pretty much what it says, you ran out of resources. Was your system heavily loaded at the time? Are you reading an exceptionally large file? You haven't given us much to go on, so forced to guess.

Hi Chullet,

The file is not too large, it has aprox 1 million records in it.

So, is it something to clear the phantom process to get sufficient resources.

If yes, then how to find phantom process in Windows.

Please suugest.

All processes can be seen in Task Manager on the server.

If you telnet in to the server to the DS account, you can execute the command PORT.STATUS to see all processes. In any project account the DS.TOOLS menu gives access to similar functionality. And, of course, you can use the Cleanup Resources tool in Director to view the processes related to any particular job.
