hi

i got the following error when i trie to load some small data into database.

Operator terminated abnormally: received signal SIGBUS

please can any one help me

Not without a lot more in the way of details. First though, did you try searching here for SIGBUS to see if any of the previous posts that mention it help? After that - job design, database, UNIX flavor, etc etc.

Hi

is it good way to delete the log files from (/opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Scratch) to readuce the space issue i.e we get the error message Operator terminated abnormally: received signal SIGBUS

Please help me

No. They are unrelated. Do an Internet search for SIGBUS.

But it IS a good idea to keep the scratchdisk as clean as possible. This should, of course, happen automatically, at least for jobs that don't abort.

If they're still in use, no. If they're not still in use, yes.

We got solution for SIGBUS issue. we need to have oracle EE patch, this makes SIGBUS issue solved.

Solution installing the Oracle EE patch:
