SqlPlus Not connecting

After installing Oracle Client 11g, I can not connect to sqlplus. I check the bin directory and I can see sqplus with a size of 37 meg. The install was successful, I ran the required scripts at the end of the install. I am at a lost as to why this is not working. I completed the same installation on the other LAPR for this server and it connect to sqlplus.
Any thoughts as to what the problem could be.

This really isn't a sqlplus support forum but perhaps if you expand a little on what exactly 'not connecting' means, someone may be able to help.

Giving this a thought you are correct about using this forum it really isn't really for this problem. I presented it to an Oracle forum.
