uncataloging the XMeta database using example

Does by any chance example program under branded_odbc which tests the odbc connection would uncatalog the XMeta DB2 database connection.I am 99% sure that it wont but just want to know as it happened today for us that for some reason XMeta DB2 database got uncataloged.Could you suggest something on it and find the cause of the problem.
