APT_PM_CONDUCTOR_TIMEOUT To a large value

APT_PM_CONDUCTOR_TIMEOUT To a large value

Hi,

When I am executing the DS job it is giving me the below mentioned warning.

Log:

FATAL Thu Sep 24 23:00:45 2009
main_program: Fatal Error: Service table transmission failed for node1 (su0096:Broken pipe. This may indicate a network APT_PM_CONDUCTOR_TIMEOUT to a larger value (when unset, it defaults to 60) may (...)


Can you please help me in resolving this error.

You mean other than simply making its value larger?

Hi Chulet,

Thanks for your quick response can you please tell me what is the value I can give and on what basis I can decided the value.

In my current configuration it is defined as blank.

There's no rules that I'm aware of, pick a number, any number... me, I'd probably change it from 60 to 600 and see if that helps.

Chulett can you please explain me the importance of this variable. So that I can decide the which value to assign.

I am asking you this question because I dint get anyhelp from the DS document available on ENV variables regarding APT_PM_CONDUCTOR_TIMEOUT
