Hello All
I am trying to create project from Admin client and it doesnt show up in the admin client after it is completed the task.
The same project created is visible on the UNIX server under
/data/usr/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Projects/ directory.
I have also checked all the xmeta repository tables with a entry for the new project that I created.
This is a new installation setup, the only project that is visible in the client is the one that I created at the time of installation.
Thanks
Narayana.
Project not visible from administrator client.

Hmmm... ok, were there any errors thrown when you created the project? What userid did you use? You said you checked the XMETA repository but don't mention the results, I'm assuming you could find the original project but not the new one.

There were no errors while creating the project.
select * from datastagex_dsprojectc2e76d84
I get two projects name -> development, NARAYANA
(null) c2e76d84.60f7eb8a.6549695d.12314cfa723.4f21aadf.391b DataStageSystemUser 1250184636245 DataStageSystemUser 1250184636245 1 BI-PROD02.HOMEOFFICE.ANFCORP.COM (null) (null) development

which are both same as from the server:
cd /data/usr/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Projects/
bash-3.00$ ls -ltr
drwxrwxr-x 48 dsadm dstage 4096 Aug 14 21:20 development
drwxrwxr-x 48 dsadm dstage 4096 Aug 14 21:21 NARAYANA
So my repository does contain the entry but I cannot see the project "NARAYANA" in the administrator client.
my hostname while installation was : bi-prod02.homeoffice.anfcorp.com
and now we have made short to bi-prod02.
Is that what causing the problem? I have run out of thoughts...
Thanks
Narayana.

I can login into the project and delete from uv.account, but still since the schema exists, I went and deleted that and then from the UNIX server directory.
When I try to add the same project it gets created on the server but still not visible., is it anything to do with hostname in the client.
my server on admin client drop down is
bi-prod02.homeoffice.anfcorp.com
and when I type
$ hostname on the server I get as bi-prod02
