Hey All,

I am not able to see SQL server connectivity stages in the Database Pallette. Isn't it supposed to installed by default? Is there any specific process I have to go through to get these stage?

Thanks for the help

You only get those stages on a Windows server, as far as I know.

You have to use the ODBC Connector stage. Don't use the ODBC Enterprise stage because it has big, nasty bugs with handling date/time fields.

Hi All

ODBC Connector stage has been introduced first in 8.0 and ODBC Enterprise has been there since early days of datastage.

I found the ODBC Enterprise stage pretty robust. I found less locking issues with this stage compared to ODBC Connector

Only advance of ODBC Connector is it has isolation settings
