Encoding conversion error : Truncated character

Hello,

We are encountering the fatal error:

FACS_PROD_Tables,0: U_TRUNCATED_CHAR_FOUND encountered.
FACS_PROD_Tables,0: Encoding conversion error : Truncated character found

The FACS_PROD_Tables stage is a Facets system on a Sybase database, coming in through a DataStage Sybase connection. I pulled the connection out and sent it strait to a flat file to confirm that it was that stage.

I have looked through the forums and thought I had tracked the problem down to mismatched DataStage metadata to the actual Facets metadata, but the fields match on both sides.

Are there any known issues with Sybase connections into DataStage?
