Hi,

We can use the stage SQLServer_Enterprise in DataStage version 8.1 with UNIX?
Or is there some SQLServer driver that can be used on UNIX?

Thank you!

Don't know if it is available in version 8.1 for Unix. But you always have ODBC based stages to connect to SQL Server.

Wait till someone working on 8.1 for unix replies.

True but they've supplied ODBC wire drivers for SQL Server for some time now. They are there on both my 7.5.2 and 8.1 servers and are how you'd connect from a UNIX server.

In fact, I'm doing the migration of a project that was created on a windows server to a UNIX server. This project has several jobs that use the stage SQLServer_Enterprise and I scaled the work that we have to perform the migration.

Thank you all!

SQL Enterprise Stge is only avaiable in wiindows versions of datastage.
In Unix versions of dtastage you can use ODBC Connector or ODBC Enterprise stage.
