Hi,

We are using DB2 API stage in our 8.0.1 jobs. One day, the stage property(GUI)started looking a little different and it slows down work for us. It started looking something similar to a folder stage property tab.

The original GUI is restored when this job is exported and imported to a new project but we do not want to change project as it is a production system.

We tried removing and re-adding to pallette but that did not help.

Appreciate your help on resolving this.

Close some of the other Windows you have open and/or add RAM to the client machine.

We faced the same issue and IBM suggested the below. However the root cause of the issue was unknown to them.

Issue: DB2 API stage properties layout changed, it look the same as the DB2 UDB LOAD

Solution: Copy the DS_STAGETYPES from a working project

Ray's advice would be applicable if a stage started to look like the 'generic' plug-in icon: an wall plug with an electrical cord. That typically happens when you run out of memory and freeing some up will 'fix' it.
