Not able to connect Teradata stage

Post by Puli »

Hi Experts

Background: Datastage installed in RHEL 64 bit, Teradata Demo 12.0 installed in Windows xp and we have Installed Odbc Driver for Teradata( tdodbc_Linux_X8664.12.00.00.01.rpm ) also Configured ODBCini

Aim : To connect teradata in Windows Xp through datastage using Teradata_connector stage.

Issue: when i am trying to connect teradata from datastage in Linux machine using teradata_connecti stage it is not connecting. The error getting is

An exception occurred while trying to receive the response from the handler: An exception was received from the handler: Error loading connector library libcctera.so.libcliv2.so:cannot open shared object file:No such file or directory

Also i tried to connect teradata SQL from linux using isql command . But i am getting the error message .[ISQL]ERROR: Could not SQLConnect

Please guide me to resolve.

Thanks & Regards

Sorry, but does the Teradata Connector stage use ODBC under the covers? :?
