Unreadable Record

Hi ,

I am getting the Source data in Text file which i am using the sequential file stage for extraction.

Some of the record's i am getting as square values 00000000,but not the zeros which i typed.

When I load into the Oracle table ,its showing nothing in that record.

Please let me know if any of you faced this problem

Use a hex editor and let us know what these "square values" actually are.

How can I see in Hex Editor.
I installed the hex Editor Software ,but it is not pointing to the right place

If you installed the hex editor on your client PC, then you'll need to copy the file there before you can look at it. You can also do an "od -h" directory on the UNIX server if you like.
