Problem in Job Monitoring

Hi ,
I am facing a strange problem while running a job; the job is showing as 'Running' in Director window.But while monitoring I dont see any processing, I just see the stages/link names in the job monitor and Black colour square boxes(usually green/blue when a job is running).

Similarly, when I run a job from Designer, I dont see any processing. But the job is jus idle(with any processing displayed) in designer but its actually running.

What could be the possible reason ? How should I solve it ?

Please suggest !

check the job monitor is up and running?
try restarting the job monitor and then run the job.

I reopened the job monitor and checked.

Is there a way to explicitly restart the monitor?

Check if ENV variable AAPT_NO_JOBMON is disenabled or not ??

The environment variable is APT_NO_JOB_MON not APT_JOB_MON!!!

Check if its set to True. If so then change it to False.

Once more question, Do you have any warning message in job log? If yes, would you mind to post it?
