control user roles

I have UNIX DataStage 8.0.1.
We have LDAP authentication and we are using OS authentication (UNIX).
I am interested in managing user group's role in admin client at command prompt (on UNIX)..like if I give a user developer role and if I want to downgrade the role to operator after 5 days.
Currently, I am changing the role in admin client.
What are my options?
