Job Status 99

Hi,
I have some sequences which is calling couple of multiple instance jobs along with regular Load jobs, so when I try to call those sequences in one master sequence then I am facing problem called status 99.

" NW_ONE_EPM_SEQ_Recon_Daily_Balance..JobControl (DSWaitForJob): Job NW_ONE_Truncate_Table_before.PS_NW_RCN_D_DD_SF has finished, status = 99 (Not running)"

Master seq is triggering 3 sub sequences and those sub sequences are calling multiple instance jobs. first job is complting with status Finished, but it's not passing the status to next link staying that status is 99 not running.

Any help is appriciated.

I have the exact same case open with IBM.

Hi,

Are you using the same invocation id for all the multiple instance jobs?

If you are using the same invocation id for the multiple instance jobs, then try changing the invocation id.

nope , InvocationId is different for each call.

but still it's throughing the same error

Hi Mike-- Could you please share the details if you hear anything form IBM technical support.

If you have autopurge set for this job, try turning it off and seeing if the error goes away.

That sounds familiar, as in a known bug with MI jobs. Let us know!

How can I auto purge off only for specific job, can you please suggest me

Sorry to not get back to you sooner. The tech supporting my case just keeps sending me more questions. I will update the thread if I ever get an answer.

No,

I've moved to a new client. The last thing we did was change the auto purge setting. The problem might of went away.

Bollineik, there is a latest patch for 8.0.1 to fix this issue. Support might be able to get this depending upon the operating system and what version level you are running the datastage.
