How to make the job only in read mode.

Only view the job and not save the changes

Hi Vinod,

Log on to Administrator, Enable the option "Protected Project". All the jobs will be made read only.

If you want few of the jobs to be read-only, then export the job and open dsx file in notepad / editplus. You can see the datastage code "Read-Only" in dsx file. It should be set to 0 (I guess), change it to 1 and save the dsx file and import it back. Your job will be read-only.

In a Protected project? No. You'd have to unprotect the project and make every other job read-only for that.
