need help for Resource Disk & Scratch Disk Spaces

Hi

I would like know about what is correct difference between Resource Disk & Scratch Disk Spaces?

Some time i am not able to understand how Datastage using this.

From what I've seen so far, think of 'scratch' just like you would think it should mean - temporary storage. And 'resource' more as persistent storage.

datastage uses scratch disk a kind of RAM
and resource disk as hard disk.

Both are 'hard disk' resources. If by 'RAM' you mean the physical memory installed on the server, that's not what the config file controls access to, which is what I assume the OP was asking in reference to.

The disk resource is where data files for Data Sets, File Sets and Lookup File Sets reside.

The scratchdisk resource is used by various operators for temporary workspace.

When's the interview?
