Hi All,

I am pivoting some columns into rows using pivot.

Anybody has encountered this warning.
Invalid character(s) ([xA9]) found converting string (code point(s): IBM Confidential, OCO Source Materials, [xA9] Copyright IBM Corp. 2006. All Rights R...) from codepage UTF-8 to Unicode, substituting.

Any inputs is most appreciated.

Bala_135,

Did you find a solution for this warning message? Pivot is definitely causing this error and even if you pivot a record as simple as 1,a,b,c I get this error. Guessing this might be a bug with the pivot stage. Let me know if you have a solution for this.

Searched the forum but couldn't find any solution to this particualr warning.

I've found it as well as noted here but only with the "Pivot" stage, not with the "Pivot Enterprise" stage introduced in 8.1. What version are you running? Seems like a message handler to demote this would be the way to go.
