Difference between 7.5 and 8.1 interms of Oracle 9i

Difference between 7.5 and 8.1 interms of Oracle 9i

Hi

How different is the behavior of DataStage 7.5 from Information server 8.1 in terms of Oracle 9i. I have some oracle tables missing in the repository after migrating to 8.1. Some jobs work and some give error. CAn someone explain the reason behind it. Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by 'some Oracle tables are missing in the repository'? What specific errors are you getting? :?

Losing Table Definitions will not break any of your DataStage jobs - they have the table and column names built into the jobs.
