Loading source file metadata into the job

Hi ,

How can i load the source file metadata into the job.
To be more precise i have a requirement where i need to extract the source sequential file metadata and load the same into the source stage.
I dont want to define column definations in source stage rather then that i want to load the metadata. One way of doing this is by using schema files.
[b]other then that is there any way ?? [/b]I dont want to use schema files coz i am using a change capture stage in the same job where we need to define the key column and by using schema files we cannot define as the columns are propagated during runtime there.

Any quick help will be appriciated .

There is NO OTHER WAY.

DataStage was designed to be driven by metadata, not the other way around.
