lookup

What is the exact difference between the sparse lookup and normal lookup?
i need clear information, i know if data is comming from souce is small we will go through sparse lookup.
can you please give me the more clarification about this?

"In normal Lookup, reference data is loaded into memory
like any other reference link.

When directly connected as the reference link to a Lookup stage, both
DB2/UDB Enterprise and Oracle Enterprise stages allow the lookup
type to be changed to Sparse and send individual SQL statements to
the reference database for each incoming Lookup row."

Did u search for ' sparse lookup ' ? This topic has been disscussed many times before.

The second person personal pronoun in English is spelled "you", not "u".
