Byte Order Mark

Hi,

I am trying to load a file which contains characters with Byte Order Mark
( ). Can you pls let me know how to indicate the BOM while loading into datastage, i tried with changing different NLS but the file is not getting loaded, pls help me out to solve this.

There is an optional property (Options folder?) in the parallel job Sequential File stage for handling the Byte Order Mark. At least it's there if NLS is enabled. I haven't checked where NLS is not enabled.

(You have marked your job type as "server" even though you've posted in the Parallel forum.)

Interesting... had to look that one up.

Why did this post go from being marked as 'Resolved' to 'Workaround'? Are you having an issue with the solution? :?
