ABAP EXTRACT ( Doubling of Datatype)

Hi Folks,

i am working on the sap pack, when i extract the data from sap ecc 6 system
the datatypes are getting doubled (source varchar(2) and this comes to target in becomes varchar(4)) kindly help me if any of the folks came across this kind similar problem

Do a search on it. I believe this very issue was discussed in the recent past.
