Our file system backups for the DataStage Engine seem to be taking exponentially longer every day. We have configured all job logs to be purged on a weekly basis. Also have not moved many new jobs to production. It looks to me that DataStage is not cleaning up the Projects folder correctly. Their are a lot of old DS_TEMP and RT* files that look to old jobs files. Does DataStage have a purge process that can be run on a scheduled basis to clean up files?

DS_TEMP* and RT_* are not "old". They are run-time data for jobs, with each job having a unique number. They are removed when the jobs are correctly deleted using the Designer or Director client. Until then they are required.
