We have a handful of demoted messages on our v7.5. implementation via a project level message handler.

However the message IDs are different on Version 8 (partly coz prefixed with IIS - but even taking that into account - doesnt seem to be 1-1 corrolation)

Is there anyway of mapping v7.5. messages to V8

None of which I am aware. Version 7.5 was Ascential, version 8.0 is IBM. The latter has its own standards.

They (IBM) produced an "errors manual" which does not live up to the hype. Fewer than 20% of the error messages are contained in it.
