Hi,
in my system we installed windows and Dastage px .To run the transformer stage is it mandatory to install dotnet framework or if i install vc compliler will it work.

You need .net for the client and a supported compiler for the transformer.

Have a look in the Install and Upgrade Guide and you should find a URL to a release note and URLs to the page that has the free Windows C++ compiler and .Net.

If you are installing PX on XP pro then you need 7.5x2 version of datastage
and 2003 C++ compiler.

First install c++ ccompiler and then install datastage.
