I may already know the answer to this question but I figured I would amuse myself. :D
Is there any way to check the execution stats of a shared container while it is being executed, similar to viewing a regular DS job running in Director.

Shared containers don't get executed separately, so the answer is "no".

Components within the shared container should be able to be monitored as if they were components in the parent job itself.
