Datastage job is failing while loading.

Hi,

One of my job is failing while loading into target, I am using Teradata's MULTILOAD stage and in that I am usng LOAD method as a VARTEXT. I have delimited TAB in the source.

I tried replacing with 009 and 9 and ' ' and \t.

But, I am not sure on what else to be doen for this. Does some other setting to be done.

Error message :

**** 22:06:24 UTY4016 Data item too large for field BP_INDUST in vartext record number 1.
**** 22:06:24 UTY1803 Import processing statistics


Please suggest a few.

its a problem with your source data and not with the delimitation. Correct bad data and/or update processes.
