designer and admin not responding

I have project for which i need to do small changes. So i exported the dsx and done changes and then was importing. But suddenly in the middle of import (after some jobs are imported) it said the connection is lost and i have to hit the OK button with error for each job until end. After this i killed the designer through task manager and tried to open it again. But there was no response and it is just hanging. I tried many times.
And i was able to open all the remaining projects (designer, director, manager) without any problem.
....But i am not able to open administrator too. It is also just hanging and not responding.
Now iam not in a position to create a new project too!
What would be the reason for this? Please let me know.
