unbale to view data from oracle stage

Post by singhald »

Hi all,

I am reading a date field using oracle enterprise stage,

No default type conversion from type "timestamp" to type "date".

i have used Orchestrate table definition import to import metadata from database table but it is converting date to timestamp.
if i keep timestamp then i am able to view data, but not with date datatype.

Regards,

Oracle DATEs are actually timestamps, so keep the timestamp definition.

Hi ArndW,

I faced the same problem. So, I have taken it as timestamp. But when loading this data into another oracle table, what needs to be done to load the data as it is into a date field??? Thanks in advance.
