Hi Guys,

You might be knkowing that there is a feature of "Before Job SQL" in Oracle Enterprise stage of Server edition. I came to know that this feature is not present in Oracle Enterprise stage of Parallel edition.


Any idea of how you guys are implementing "Before Job SQL" in Parallel jobs (Oracle enterprise stage)

There are options in Oracle Enterprise stage called "Open Command" and "Close Command" for implementing this.

Use DRS stage . this stage contains before and after stage sql options

So does the OCI stage, but neither one is a PX "Enterprise" stage.
