APT_BUfferOperator error

From past few days one of the job which was running fine before is getting aborted with the below msg

buffer(11),1: APT_BufferOperator: Add block to queue failed. This means that your buffer filesystems all ran out of file space, or that some other system error occurred. Please ensure that you have sufficient scratchdisks in either the default or "buffer" pools on all nodes in your configuration file.

To resolve the problem we increased the APT_BUFFER_MAX_Memory but it is not making any difference.

Has anyone come accross this error msg ??

Appreciate greatly any help

Thanks

Checking disk space after the event is a waste of time. You must be monitoring it when the problem occurs. Scratch disk fills and empties.
