Mainframe capability has been in the product since very early days - if pressed I would opt for version 2.2 or thereabouts. I have been involved in banking/insurance projects using mainframe jobs.

So, is there any way to call remote Mainframe job from sitting on DS on Unix.

I have called a remote Unix job from sitting on DS on Unix through 'Command activity' 'rsh. So, thought is there any similar things out there.
