HI
In px job if i am using 5 stages in job and running on 3 node configfile, howmany instances data stage will create backend.

it depends on which stages are bieng used.... which are the 5 stages are you using ?

when you run this job, how many it is creating for you?

It depends on several other factors too, for example whether operator combination can occur. Look at the job score - the final line will report to you how many processes and how many nodes will be used.

Hi
Good question, I tried with Oracle stage it creates 2 instances every time.
More over mostly it differs based on Stage.
I am not sure.
