Upgrade for DataStage PACK for SAP BW

Hi All,
Currently, our customer met an issue concerning RFC connection lost between DataStage and SAP BW system usually. They are using DataStage 7.5.1 and PACK for SAP BW 4.1, and to solve this promblem we are planning to upgade PACK for SAP BW from version 4.1 to 4.2.1.

Could you guys throw certain points for precaution during the upgrading process?

You client is using BW3.5 or BI 7.1 version. If they are upgraded BI version definately upgraded to Datastage BW pack 4.3.1.
