Connecting to DB2 on Windows

Connecting to DB2 on Windows

Im using datastage 8.01 server on a Solaris box, i need to establish connectivity to a Db2 instance running on a windows server, i assume that i need to install the DB2 client libraries on Solaris to configure the connection, but have no idea how to proceed- can someone throw light on this? Any pointers to some documentation or tales from the trenches, i tried the quick connect guide, but did not run into any useful hints..

Talk to your DB2 DBAs about client software called DB2 Connect.
