Post by veera24 »

hi all
In hashed file input tab, when i've check in the create file option, OPTIONS box has enabled. In that, there are many stuffs like
1.File type
2.Minimum modulus
3.Group size
4.Split load
5. Merge load
6.Large record
7.Hash algorithm
8. Record size
9.Caching attributes
10. Minimize space.

Could any one give me the explanations. Actually am not using these things but i wanna know these, tats y am asking.
I had already fed up in searching these stuffs.

Your time ll be highly appreciated.,,

Thanks in advance...

Hi,

Download the UniVerse System Description and read the chapter on UniVerse File Structures. Some of the are no longer supported in the DataStage server Engine but it will give you a good idea of where to start your experimentation.
