Migrating from Solaris to Linux RH4.5. Solaris install is configured to authenticate using PAM and all user groups are defined using LDAP. PAM is enabled. Running successfully.
When configuring on Linux RH4.5 I am getting an "invalid user" error and the client cannot connect. All user groups are defined using LDAP and must be so for production implementation.
