to get first & last date of previous month

to get first & last date of previous month

If i was running my job today,i've to get the current time stamp value in today field(that can be done by including current time stamp function),but i want the last date of the previous month in one field & the first date of the last month.(If i was running the job today i.e., 30-Apr-2008 ,i should get the last date of march & the first date of march)


How to get it?

Welcome aboard.

The best solution to all these kinds of questions is to have a time dimension table against which you can perform a lookup.
