lookup problem

hi

any one pls tell if job is aborted for lookup with fail option. then what is need to check as first thing in that job as developer.

In lookup stage conditions,
job aborts if
1.if you specify the option "conditions not met" as fail
if your specified condition is not met

2."lookup condition" as fail
if your lookup on link fails
