Connection is broken (81002)

We are trying to connect to DataStage using client components (Designer, Manager, Director and Administrator) using other than 'dsadm' ID and it failed with error message "Failed to connect <Project Name> ; The connection is broken (81002).

1. Able to connect to the project in UNIX using 'dssh/uvsh'.

2. Able to connect to DataStage using client components using 'dsadm' id.

Appreciate it if you could enlighten some light in the above issue.

If you search the forums there can be a few reasons, I suspect user permissions.

Has this been broken since 2006 ?
