Environment Variable $APT_ORCHHOME

I have a simple sequence that runs and it uses the project default for $APT_ORCHHOME. The sequence failed but on the re-run of the sequence, the value returned in the log for $APT_ORCHHOME is now the default set at the Sequence Job properties level.

It is very easy to remedy this but I do not understand why on the re-run we pick up the Job property default whereas on the first run of the day we pick up the project default. $APT_ORCHHOME is not reset anywhere else in the sequence.

Any explanation appreciated.
