how to send mail to a distribution list using mailx command

Hi All,

how to send mail to a distribution list using mailx command ,

the distribution list is configured in Microsoft outlook and we need to just use that distribution list in the mailx command,Is it possible and if so how,

A 'distribution list' is just another email address, so you use it just like you would any other. Nothing special required.

we even tried that by adding the Distribution list with Mailx ,even that is not working ,

What's "not working" about it? Details, please. Also talk to whomever set it up, ensure it has an equivalent smtp email address.
