Hi All,

There is a requirement to load large amount of data and for that i need some inputs on pivot stage and parallel transfer stage, which one is most faster !!

Appreciate you help !!

Hello hhh,

Am I right in assuming 'parallel transfer stage' refers to a Transformer? Asking which of a Transformer or Pivot stage is faster is like comparing a Kettle and a Toaster: They're both pretty fast and efficient tools at achieving what they were designed to do.

I'm assuming you're referring to performance speed rather than speed/ease of development? In that case, tell us how you plan to emulate the behaviour of the pivot in the transformer and someone might provide some clues on how you could best optimise that solution. Also 'How fast' also depends upon your environment's capabilities and configuration.

Other than that, the quickest way to a concrete answer is to build both and try them - and then post your experiences here. :-)

... and don't try to boil water in a toaster or cook bread in a kettle!

Sorry for the weak analogy - I had kitchen appliances on my mind at the time:

If anyone living in East Melbourne, Australia, had a power cut last Saturday night (about 2 minutes after completion of the Australian Open Men's Finals) then I apologize. It was due to my kettle exiting this world dramatically. It took about 12 hours to get the electricity restored.

No fatalities were recorded, although the kitchen is still in a critical condition. :(
