NLS_LANG environment variable

NLS_LANG environment variable

From the datastage director I see NLS_LANG=american_america.WE8ISO8859P1 as one of the environment variable setting.

I checked DS administrator. The NLS is disabled. I checked the dsenv in the DS engine directory. Could not see NLS_LANG there. I am wondering where this variable is coming from.

I will appreciate your help.

Probably from /etc/profile or your .profile script (in your home directory), possibly from the DataStage dsenv script.
